Russian film festival award highlighted in

Were announced yesterday during the closing gala of the film winning the Estoril Film Festival, which ends today.

The jury, composed of the actress Catherine Deneuve, the Nobel J. M. Coetzee, the writer Paul Auster, the plastic artist and sculptor Julian Sarmento Catarina Iglesias, decided to reward long-Russian film Wild Field, the director Mikhail Kalatozishvili as the best film of the festival, which began on November 14. This award has a value of twenty thousand euros.

In addition to Wild Field, were also awarded two prizes, one of fourteen full length movies in competition. The Special Jury Award - City of Lisbon was awarded to two films: involuntary, from Ruben Ostlund, and hooked, from Adrian Sitaru. Portugal, France, Spain, Sweden, Russia, Romania, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Slovenia were the countries represented in the list of films in competition.

Other revelations of awards at the festival, involuntary, from Ruben Ostlund, focuses on a story of friends and traumas of the past, through situations limit filmed in a context of extremely realistic experience.
